Garden Description
This fourth-century villa was discovered in 1973. An apse and a figured mosaic with two panthers mark the room on the north corner as probably the triclinium. It did not, however, have a view of the garden but looked along the northeast gallery of the peristyle. That there was a garden is indicated by the presence of a pipe which crossed the northeast portico presumably to supply water for plants or a nymphaeum in the center of the peristyle.
