Garden Description
A grave stele found near Vasada records an epitaph of perhaps second or third century date set up by a veteran secretary of the Roman army (a commentariis), Quaternius Munnienus, and his wife, Valeria Valeriana, who set up for themselves a tomb and surrounding pleasure garden (paradeisos).
